Golf Day 2023

The first Stowmarket and District Lions Golf Day for three years, after disruption by the pandemic, was held at Stowmarket Golf Club on Friday June 9th. 18 teams and 14 hole sponsors supported the event and with the course being in tip top condition, the weather exceptional and the atmosphere both relaxed and generous, a great day was had.
 
A huge thank you to all those that supported the day and we look forward to seeing you all again next year.

Lions Club – thank Stowmarket

We would like to wish all residents of Stowmarket and District a happy New Year.

We had another good year with the re-furnished sleigh on the run up to Christmas. In total we raised nearly £8,000 for our nominated good causes. Considering how difficult the economy had become this means the people of Stowmarket and district have been very generous. We thank you for your wonderful comments, and kind donations.
