Santa Sleigh – Over £10,000 raised to support local causes

With Santa now back home in the North Pole enjoying a very well earned rest Stowmarket Lions are delighted to announce that, thanks to the generosity of our local community, Santa Sleigh raised over £10,000 to support local causes.

We are naturally delighted with this result which could not have been achieved without a huge effort from many people and organisations including over 200 fund raising collectors.

Santa Sleigh was spreading Christmas cheer around Stowmarket, Needham Market and villages on 12 nights during December as well as being static in Stowmarket on 5 days.

So a very big THANK YOU to all the Lions, family and friends, local clubs and organisations for all their help and support.

And to the people of Stowmarket, Needham Market and villages for their wonderful generosity.

Finally to Santa for spreading Christmas cheer in our community at his busiest time of year.
