We are in the town again this year collecting money for Marie Curie.  We have been doing this by coordinating with the local organiser, and by providing schedules and volunteers from the club for many years.

This is the first year that we will be able to collect via contactless.  If you don’t carry change around with you then please talk to one of the collectors who will direct you to which collector has the card machine .

This year we have sun, which is a blessing as it has been cold in previous years.  This is one of our Lions in the sun helping out.  

 

For several years Stowmarket Lions have help provide collectors for Marie Curie as part of a national partnership.

This year the Lions Club of Stowmarket and District has helped out Marie Curie again by providing collectors for the charity

On Friday March 24th and Saturday 25th we were able to standing around the town of Stowmarket and collect money from the generous public.  Last year we were able to collect over £1,100 for this excellent cause.  Everything collected goes straight to the charity to help nurses provide the support for families in need.
