Our website address is: https://stow-lions.org.uk is the official website for “Lions club of Stowmarket and District”.  Lions Clubs are an international organisation dedicated to raising money for good causes.  Our club is a registered charity and governed by the charity commission.

We do not gather your (Email/Name/address/phone personal data) information from this web site unless you contact us via the form, however we do hold customers data for events. We will never pass this information on to third parties, but we will hold for this for three years from your last attendance of the event.  After this time your data will be removed from online and offline lists/databases/computer documents.

We do store technical data about you as you browse including but not exclusively browser type and IP address.

All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Customer data is held for three years from the last event attended then it is destroyed.  Technical data is held indefinitely.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

If you request your data we will provide it, and if you request us to remove your data we will.
