A Day to Remember Courage and Sacrifice
Trafalgar Day marks the 220th anniversary of the historic Battle of Trafalgar, a decisive naval engagement fought on 21st October 1805 off the coast of Spain. Led by Vice-Admiral Lord Nelson, the British Royal Navy triumphed over the combined fleets of France and Spain, securing British Naval supremacy for generations.
Everyone Welcome to join us to celebrate the anniversary of this epic sea battle.

Horseshoes Mushrooms (v)
Sliced mushrooms cooked in our creamy white wine sauce with fresh garlic and wilted baby spinach, served upon toasted baguette with fresh leaf garnish.
Mozzarella Sticks (v)
Mozzarella fried in golden breadcrumbs, served with our homemade garlic & herb mayo dip with a dressed leaf garnish.
Chicken Tenders
Tender chicken breast in a crispy golden batter, served with our homemade sweet chilli mayo & dressed leaf garnish.
Ham Hock Terrine (G/F Available)
Honey glazed ham hock terrine, served with toasted baguette & butter, caramelised onion chutney and a dressed leaf garnish.
Prawn Cocktail (G/F)
The Classic. Atlantic prawns bound in our Marie Rose sauce, layered on shredded leaves with a salad garnish.

Today’s catch, fresh from our local Fishmonger Dan, served in our homemade real-ale batter with seasoned chunky chips, Chef’s minted mushy peas and fresh lemon wedge garnish.
Homemade Steak & Ale Pie
Best steak pieces slowly cooked with mushrooms & onions in our rich homemade real ale gravy. Served within puff pastry with a selection of fresh vegetables and our creamy mashed potatoes.
Poacher’s Chicken (G/F)
Fresh chicken breast, grilled to order, smothered in our sweet & smoky BBQ sauce and melting cheese & butcher’s best bacon. Served with a selection of fresh vegetables and creamy mashed potato.
Homemade Mushroom & Cashew Nut Pie (V)
Diced mushrooms, fresh leeks and cashew nuts all cooked to our secret recipe cream sauce and served within puff pastry. Accompanied by seasoned chunky chips and garden peas.
Whitby Scampi
Golden breaded wholetail scampi, served with seasoned chunky chips and a fresh dressed salad.
Bacon & Cheese Beef Burger (G/F Available)
Butcher’s 100% British beef burgers double stacked in a toasted brioche bap, topped with butchers best bacon & melting cheese, with classic relish & fresh leaves. Served with seasoned chunky chips and homemade coleslaw.
Chicken Burger (G/F Available – grilled chicken)
Fresh chicken breast, hand breaded & cooked to order, served within a toasted brioche bap with fresh leaves & mayo – accompanied by seasoned chunky chips and homemade coleslaw.

Butterbeans, diced sweet potato and spinach leaves in a light tomato sauce, served up with freshly cooked rice with cashew nuts, and a mixed dressed salad.
