On Thursday 19th December, Lions, wives and guests gathered at the Stowmarket Golf Club for our Christmas Dinner. Lion President Kevin’s special guests were some of the children visiting the UK as part of the Chernobyl Children’s Lifeline hosting programme, along with their interpreter. It was a pleasure to have them join us and to see them relaxed and enjoying themselves.
Santa made his first visit of the festive season to Stowmarket for the Lights Switch-On on Friday night and soon had a crowd of eager young, and not so young, admirers. His next visit will be to Combs Ford for their Lights Switch-On on Wednesday 27th. See times for other visits here
